Obituary C. S. Smith   Waxahachie Enterprise April 11, 1890 Mr. Smith, highly esteemed citizen of this city, died last Friday evening at the residence of J. S. Siddons. He had been a citizen of Ellis County for a number of years, being in business in Mountain Peak and Midlothian. For the last two years he had been employed as a salesman in the Tennessee Store in this city and had won the confidence of all with whom he did busiess. He was a member of the Methodist church and had served as Steward. He had been ill for several weeks after being stricken with fever, grew worse on Friday, and died.
