Obituary James Deeran Carder   Ellis County Mirror. March 25, 1908 James Carder, well known farmer at Sardis, died  of dropsy at his home yesterday morning. Mr. Carder was born at Liberty, Va.  May 21, 1845.  After the War he came to Dallas County where he married Miss Sallie A. Finley in July 1869.  He moved to Johnson County . and  to Sardis in Ellis County  about 1875.
