In Memorium Mrs. G. W. Peavy   Waxahachie Enterprise  June 20, 1890 Mrs. Peavy died June 8, 1890 at her home in Big Springs, Texas. She had attended church on June 1 and the following Sunday her funeral was held, Rev. Jerome Annis officiating. Her husband five children survive - the oldest a daughter of sixteen years and the youngest a baby of a little over a year, a son age six and two other daughters ten and thirteen years. Mollie Wilson was born July 1, 1852 in Alabama and moved to Louisiana with her parents in 1860 where her mother died two years later. After the War ended she and her father moved to Ellis County where she married and went with her husband to find a home in the "growing west".
