McNorton 55th Wedding Anniversary The Dallas Morning News, Feb. 21, 1947, Page 1   Special to The News. Ennis, Texas. Feb. 20.  Mr. and Mrs. J. L. McNorton have observed their fifty-fifth wedding anniversary. Among the gifts received was a photo made b  one of her Sunday School pupils, Ford Curry, who she taught in the primary department of the Tabernacle Baptist Sunday School  She taught for thirty-six years before retiring last year. The McNortons were married in Mississippi and moved to Campbell, Texas in 1894.  They have lived in Ennis for forty-five years.  Their four children: Mrs. M. B. Moseley and Gordon McNorton of Ennis; Jim McNorton hf San Angelo and Mrs Fay Hinton of Carlsbad, N. M.
