Services for Donnie Vick, 28, of Kermit and formerly of Plainview, were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Bethel Baptist Church, Plainview with the Rev. Gene Joplin, pastor of the Happy Union Baptist Church, assisted by the Rev. J.E. Lee, officiating.

Graveside services were at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Spur Cemetery under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home of Plainview.

Vick died about 11:55 a.m. Saturday in Odessa hospital of injuries he received in a truck accident Monday.

A native of Spur, he lived here and in Plainview before moving to Kermit.

Vick is survived by his wife, Carol, a daughter, Tabatha of the home, a son, Hinton of the home; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Vickie McPherson and Mrs. Donna Jones, both of Plainview; a stepson Marvin Green of Plainview, his mother, Mrs. Hubert White of Hereford; two brothers, Billy of Kermit and Calvin Stovall of Plainview; and eight sisters, Mrs. Rodessa Dorris of San Angelo, Mrs. Faye Bramlett of Plainview; Mrs. Geneva Lee of Arlington, Mrs. Sue Conaway of Abernathy, Mrs. Dell Kendrix of Lubbock; Mrs. Darlene Gibson of Jacksboro; Mrs. Carolyn Tackhill of Hereford; and Mrs. Alma Kamp of Phoenix, AZ.
