Rosary for Juan M. Vasquez, 58, of Spur will be at 7 p.m. today and Thursday in Campbell Funeral Home.

Mass will be at 2 p.m. Friday in St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Glen Rosendale officiating.

Burial will be in Spur Memorial Cemetery under direction of Campbell Funeral Home.

Vasquez died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 1998, in Crosbyton Hospital.

He was born May 5, 1939, in Jarrell. He married Nora Ortiz on Aug. 22, 1959, in Spur. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

He worked for the Farmer's Co-Op Gin for 25 years.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Nicky Vargas of Springdale, Ark., Andy Vargas, Ricky Vasquez and Domingo Vasquez, all of Spur; four daughters, Romona Vargas of Plainview, Alicia Tover of Ringling, Okla., Debbie Olivarez of Spur and Monica Vasquez of Jarrell; four brothers, Alfonzo of Jarrell, Ralph of Spur, Jesse of Cedar Park and Manuel Jr. of Georgetown; two sisters, Virginia Mirelez and Mary Ann Nunez, both of Georgetown; 20 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
