Funeral services for Milton Melvin Tullis, 37, who passed away February 13, were held at the First Baptist Church, Spur, Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 with Reverend's Herman Coe, Howard H. Hollowell and John Boone conducting.

Interment was in the Spur cemetery with Chandler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

A son of Mr. and Ms. J. J. Tullis of Spur, Mr. Tullis was born in Alabama Sept. 1, 1908. He was converted at the age of nine and became affiliated with the Methodist church.

He moved with his family to Dickens County in 1928 and was married to Miss Naomi Frances Gragson in 1932. To them were born four children.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Naomi Frances Tullis; three sons, J.M., Elton Ray and Frank; one daughter, Mary Frances; parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.J. Tullis of Spur; two brothers, Cecil Tullis of Belen, NM and Durward Tullis, with the U.S. Army somewhere in the Philippines and one sisters, Mrs. Velma Duggins of Belen, NM.
