John Jefferson Tullis, 82, was buried Tuesday morning following funeral services in the First Methodist Church.

Mr. Tullis died in Snyder following a brief illness.

He had been a resident of Dickens County since 1930. He was a retired merchant and farmer. He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Rev. W.D. McReynolds officiated.

Survivors include two sons: D.D. Snyder, (formerly of Spur), Cecil Whitesboro; one daughter, Mrs. Velma Duggins, Belen, NM and one sister, Emma Dixon, Boaz, AL; 18 grandchildren.
