Mrs. Aupha Emmaline Tullis, 73, was found dead in her bed about 10 a.m. Monday. She had apparently been dead for some time. She was last seen alive Friday.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Campbell's Funeral Chapel. Rev.William D. McReynolds, officiating.

Born in 1889 in Moulton, AL, Mrs. Tullis first came to Dickens County in 1930.

Survivors include her husband, John J. Tullis, Spur; two sons, D.D. Tullis, Snyder and Cecil B. Tullis, Whiteboro; one daughter, Velma Duggins, Belen, NM; two sisters, Mrs. Sallie West, Moulton, AL and Mrs. Laura Beatty, Moulton, AL. Fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive.

Interment was in Spur Cemetery.
