Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Spur Church of Christ for Mrs. Lovie Ellen Tree, 82. Loyd Womack and Robert Williams officiated.From the records of Lillian Grace NayMrs. Tree died in Nichols Manor, Crosbyton, April 10.
A member of the Church of Christ, Mrs. Tree came to Dickens County in 1918 and resided 10 miles west of Spur until she became a resident of the rest home.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Nelda Blackmon, Bakersfield, CA; and Mrs. Jimmy Hahn, Spur. Two sons, Carl Tree, Pine, CO, and Wilbur Tree, Los Angeles, CA; ten grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren also survive.
Interment was in the Spur Cemetery.
