Mrs. Thomason, 71, Buried Here Sunday

Mrs. Nancy Cleo Thomason died here Saturday, May 11, 1957 at 3 p.m. Mrs. Thomason was born in Coryell, Co., TX on April 9, 1886. she was a member of the Baptist Church. She was married to rover Thomason Dec. 4, 1910 at Carbon, TX and they made their first home in Stephens Co., moving to Dickens Co. in 1923 and to Spur in 1947. Their present home is in Highway Community.

Surviving Mrs. Thomason are her husband, one daughter, Ruby Bilberry, Spur; two sons, Raymond, Spur and Cleo R., Houston; 2 grandchildren, 5 sisters, 3 brothers, R.D. Weaver, T.B. Weaver and Jim Weaver.

Services were held May 12 at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Billie Smith officiating, assisted by Rev. Riley Fugitt.

Pallbearers were Lester English, Ted Smith, Edwin Denson, Bob Hahn, Glen Hahn and Cecil Estep.

Interment was in Spur Cemetery with Campbell Funeral Home in charge.
