Funeral services for Harry Taylor, 72, were held Friday at 3 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, Spur with Rev. Norris Taylor officiating, assisted by Rev. Jackie Rumbaugh, pastor of Bethel Baptist Church.

Mr. Taylor, a 69 year resident of Dickens County, died February 28 at his farm home. He was a member of the Baptist Church. H married the former Delreo Tyler in January of 1929.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Harry Taylor, Spur; a daughter, Wanda Mae Hahn, Spur; a son, Gene Taylor, Dickens; and a grandson that the reared, Max Haney, Post.

Also surviving are seven brothers, Jack Taylor, Post; Jonah and Ford Taylor, both of Spur; Amos Taylor, Morton; George Taylor, Girard; Don Taylor, Seagraves and Sam Taylor, Redding, Iowa; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Burial was in Spur Cemetery.
