Services for Ima Nell (Sissy) Tatum, 62, will be held Thursday, December 15, at 2 p.m. in the Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Coffey, church pastor, officiating.

A resident of Rapid City, South Dakota, she died about 5:30 a.m. in Rapid City Regional Hospital on December 10, following a lengthy illness. Born November 10, 1926 in Spur, she lived her early life in Dickens County, later moving to Sacramento, California and then to Rapid City. She was a homemaker.

She married William R. Tatum on December 20, 1962 in Sacramento.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Tatum, Rapid City, South Dakota; one son, Jace Edward Tatum, Lancaster, CA; three step-daughters, Carol Brady, San Roman, CA; Linda Maxey, Ennis; Deborah Pugh, Buford, GA; three brothers, W.B. Steele, Ruidoso, NM; Bob Steele, Apple Valley, CA; and Don Steele, Louisville, TX; and several grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Oncology Unit, Rapid City Regional Hospital.

Burial will be in Spur Memorial Cemetery with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
