Obituary

Funeral services for Manna Faye Hagins, 53, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 3, 1986, in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. George Price officiating.

Mrs. Hagins died March 31 at about 8 p.m. in Scott and White Hospital, Temple, following a lengthy illness.

Born Manna Faye Smith in Spur on April 20, 1932, she married Paul Dale Hagins on February 5, 1950. She was a housewife and a member of the Methodist Church. She had lived all of her life in Dickens County.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Dale Hagins, Spur; two daughters, Paula Brownlee and Linda Cranford, both of Spur; three grandchildren.

Burial will be in Spur Memorial Cemetery with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Services for Paul Dale Hagins, 69, of Spur, were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 31, 1994, in the First Baptist Church, Jayton. Rev. Glenn Shock, church pastor, officiated, assisted by Bob Phillips of Aspermont.

Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery under direction of Campbell Funeral Home.

Mr. Hagins died Sunday, August 28 at 4 p.m. in Methodist Hospital, Lubbock, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Dickens County and had lived here most of his life.

He married Manna Faye Smith in Spur on February 2, 1950. She preceded him in death on March 31, 1986.

Mr. Hagins was a graduate of Spur High School, class of 1942 and an Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a member of Spur VFW Post 7212 and the American Legion. He served on the Spur School board, Farmer´s Coop Gin board, ASCS committee and the Duck Creek Soil and Water Conservation board.

He was a member of the Methodist Church and was a farmer and rancher.

Survivors include two daughters, Paula Brownlee, Jayton and Linda Cranford, Spur; one sister, Arloiene McGalliard, Houston and four grandchildren.
