Robert Crockett   Masonic Graveside Rites for Robert Weldon Crockett, 77, of Spur were held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, August 6, 2001 at the Spur Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur. A Memorial service followed at 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 6, 2001 at the First Christian Church in Spur with the Rev. Jack Alexander and the Rev. Richard Harbison officiating.

Mr. Crockett died Friday, August 3, 2001 at the Covenant Medical Center Lubbock.

He was born October 21, 1923 in Temple, Texas. He married Eloise Sharp July 16, 1945 in Lubbock. He was a member of the Spur Masonic Lodge, the Order of the Eastern Star, the Spur Art Build, and the Spur VFW. He was also a member of the First Christian Church in Spur. He has lived in Dickens County most of his life.

Survivors include his wife, Eloise Crockett of Spur; one son and daughter-in-law, Joe Bob and Charlene Crockett of Spring Hill, Florida; one sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Carl Williams of Midland; and one grandchild, Charles Crockett of Spring Hill, Florida.
