Services Are Held For Mrs. Turner

Graveside services for Lou Vella Turner were conducted Friday, November 27, at the Red Mud Cemetery. C.V. Allen and Harry E. Johnson officiated.

Mrs. Turner was born March 22, 1864 and she died November 21, 193, at the home of her daughter in Hollywood, California. She moved to Dickens County in 1890 and then to Lubbock in 1941.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. T. E. Roland of Hollywood, California and Mrs. Mollie Thomas of Lubbock; one son, Warren Turner.

Pallbearers were Ed McArthur, Fred Danforth, Loyd Danforth, Andy Thomas, Durward Woodward and Elmer Cross.

Chandler Funeral Home was in charge of burial arrangements.
