Services for Bob Tidwell, 47, of McAdoo will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2000, at the McAdoo First United Methodist Church with the Revs. Bud Kidwell, pastor, officiating, Robby Harris, pastor of McAdoo First Baptist Church assisted.

Burial will be in the McAdoo Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

He died Sunday, October 15, 2000, at his McAdoo home. He was born December 2, 1952, in Crosbyton. He married Marcell King on September 10, 1975, in Ralls. He was a member of McAdoo First United Methodist Church and the McAdoo Volunteer Fire Department. He was a reserve deputy for the Dickens County Sheriff's office and was a former member of the McAdoo School Board. He was a farmer and had lived in McAdoo most of his life.

Survivors include his wife, Marcell Tidwell of McAdoo; two daughters, Carly Lynn Tidwell and Krista Rae Tidwell both of Lubbock; a brother, Bill Tidwell of Crosbyton; and niece and nephew, D'Lese Tidwell and Billy Ray Tidwell.
