• William Holloway

Funeral services for William Abb Holloway, retired farmer of Alvord, were held at graveside here Saturday. He was 78 years of age.

Rev. Norris Taylor officiated at the service.

Mr. Holloway farmed near Spur for a number of years. He had resided in Wise County for the past 23 years.

He is survived by four sons, William O. Holloway, Ft. Worth; Calvin B. Holloway, Abilene; Charles May Holloway, Alvord; A. Neal Holloway, Odessa, five daughters, Mrs. Mozelle Thomas and Mrs. Lois Lusko, both of Abilene. Mrs. Jean Jones, Aurora, CO; Mrs. Frances Veazey, San Antonio and Mrs. Jan Matthews, Alvord.

Two brothers, Charlie Holloway, Spur and Jim Holloway, Imperial Valley, CA; five sisters, Mrs. Stella Puckett, Turnville, CA; Mrs. Zora McDonald, Ventura, CA; Mrs. Tommie Walker, Oja, CA; Mrs. Estha Smith, Long Beach, CA; Mrs. Bertha Wyatt, Brownwood; 24 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Burial was in Espuela Cemetery.
