This historic cemetery is the oldest cemetery in Dickens County. The land was deeded by Eric P. Swenson back on
November 29, 1915. The first person buried was a man named Combs, the father-in-law of W.W.Stegall, a Methodist
preacher in the eighties, at Espuela.
