Friday Services Slated Here For Former Spur Man

U.S.Flag   Funeral services for Robert B. Thannish, 63, will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. at the Spur church of Christ, C.V. Allen officiating. Robert Bankhead will assist.

Thannish died in a Veteran's Hospital at Albuquerque, NM on Nov. 11.

He came to Dickens County in 1911, but moved to Albuquerque in 1954. He has resided there since.

He is survived by two brothers, R. B. Thannish Jr., Albuquerque; and H. J. Thannish, Van Horn; two sisters, Mrs. Don Merriman, Lubbock and Mrs. Homer Barnes, Brownfield.

Pallbearers will be Fred Arrington, Stirman Lee, Marvin Blair, Wilson Hagins, Guy Goen and Guy Merriman.

Interment will be in Dickens Cemetery.

CORRECTION NOTE; Survivors should be: a son, R.B. Thannish Jr., Albuquerque, two brothers, Rufus Thannish and H.J. Thannish of Van Horn.
