Raymond Futch Photo flag Services for Raymond Futch, 69, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Elgin Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Maddox, pastor officiating.

Graveside services at 5:30 p.m. in Dickens Cemetery will be directed by Resthaven Funeral Home.

Futch died at 12:33 p.m. Tuesday in St. Mary Hospital.

He was born in Dickens Ccunty and moved to Lubbock in 1959. He married Mable Irene Blakley on Oct. 17, 1943, in Dickens. He was a rancher and a member of Elgin Avenue Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, a son, Ted of Lubbock; a daughter, Gloria Holley of Mesquite; a brother, H.L. of Lubbock; two sisters, Edna Bilberry of Spur and Nan Burnam of Abilene; and four grandchildren.

Nephews will be pallbearers.

The family suggests memorials to the American Diabetes Associaiton or to the Music Department of Elgin Avenue Baptist Church.
