Devara Gayle Wesley, 65, passed away May 15, 2011 In Lubbock, Texas. She was born on February 8, 1946 to Houston and Edith (Stair) Phillips in Plainview, Texas.

Gayle enjoyed entertaining at their family ranch. She also enjoyed archery, hunting with rifles, handgun and bow. She was an accomplished Artist. She was a member of the Rainbows.

Devara Gayle Wesley is survived by her husband, Walt of Lubbock, Texas; one son, Troy Wesley of Slayton, Texas; and one daughter, Brandi Halaway of Lubbock, Texas. She is also survived by one sister, Karen Phelphrey of Lubbock, Texas; one brother, Ronald H. Phillips of Lubbock, Texas; and four grandchildren.

Graveside services for Gayle Wesley will be held at the Wesley Family Cemetery on the Lazy WD Ranch, the family ranch, in Dickens County, Texas at 2 p.m. on Tuesday May 17, 2011with Perry Hallford officiating under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home.
