Sympathy goes out to the survivors of Mrs. Myrtle Vancleeve, 84, of Lubbock, a former resident of this community. Mrs. Vancleeve lived at Afton many years, having moved to Lubbock in 1957. She died in St. Mary's Hospital Sunday after a sudden illness. Services were at Rix Funeral Chapel with burial in Afton. She had several relatives here.
