In 1985 The Corps of Engineers moved graves from the abandoned Jackie Davis Cemetery so the land could be cleared for the construction of Lake Ray Roberts, Denton County, Texas. The graves were moved to several cemeteries in Denton County and Cook County, Texas.

From Denton, Texas take FR 2164 North - from Intersection of Loop 288 & FR 2164 go 6.5 miles to McReynolds Road; turn left on McReynolds Road and go 2.4 miles; the cemetery is on the right side of road. The graves from Jackie Davis Cemetery are located on the West side of the cemetery.
