Joseph Inman served as Dallam County Judge from 1900 to 1908 and is generally remembered as Judge Inman.
When the Dallam County Free Library was formally established in 1921, Mrs. Johnston became its first librarian, serving from March 1921 until December of that same year.
Joseph and Kate are buried in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
