Prayer service will be held at 6:00 PM Monday at the church. Mrs. Zavala died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005 at her Ralls home with her family by her side. She was born August 17, 1936 in Zaragosa, Mexico. In February of 1961 she married Pedro Zavala in Mexico. She was a homemaker and a member of the Templo Sinai in Ralls. She moved to Ralls in 1979 from Idalou.
Services for Maria Del Carmela Zavala, 68, of Ralls will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at Templo Sinai in Ralls with Rev. Jesse Cisneros and Rev. Pete Martinez officiating. Burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Survivors include her husband Pedro Zavala of Ralls, 3 sons, Jose A. Zavala, Juan Zavala and Fernando Zavala all of Ralls, a daughter, Blanca Estella Gonzalez of Ballinger, 3 brothers, Jesus Aguilar of Fredericksburg, Ramon Aguilar of Lufkin and Santos Aguilar of Diboll and 2 sisters, Virginia Etter of Eagle Pass and La Marome Zaragoza of Coahilla, Mexico, 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: Jose A. Zavala, Jr., Mark A. Zavala, Gabriel Zavala, Emmanuel Gonzalez, Adam Zavala and Fernando Zavala, Jr.
