LORENZO (Special) - Services for Morris Edward Young, 77, of Lorenzo will be at 3 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. John Jenkins, a retired minister from Lubbock, officiating.He will be assisted by the Rev. Jerry Golden, pastor.
Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.
He died at 4:30 a.m. Friday in his home after a lengthy illness. Justice of the Peace Jim S. Travis ruled the death due to natural causes.
Young was born in Deport and moved form the Robertson community to Lorenzo in 1959. He married Grace Lowe on Sept. 7, 1930, in Bogata. He was a farmer and a salesman for Hurst Farm Supply. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; two sons Thomas and Glenn, both of Lorenzo; a brother, John of Paris; two sister, Louise Davis of Reno, Nev. and Maggie Green of Lubbock; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
