Graveside services for Glenn Morris Young, 65, of Lorenzo were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003, at Ralls Cemetery with the Rev. Dennis Williams officiating. Arrangements were under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls. He died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003, at his home in Lorenzo.He was born Sept. 3, 1938, in Clarksville, TX, to Morris Edward and Grace Geneva Lowe Young.
He moved to Lorenzo in 1941. He worked for the City of Lubbock and was a member of Lorenzo First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Young, Aug. 26, 1999.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Glendean Young of Lorenzo; a nephew, Ted Douglas Young and his wife, Kathy, of Lockney; a niece; Carrie Dean Young of Whiteface; two great nieces and nephews, Kacie and Ty Young.
