Services for Mrs. Maryann Orta Yanis, who was pronounced dead on arrival at Lubbock Osteopathic Hospital about noon Sunday, were Tuesday at San Lorenzo Catholic Church in Lorenzo.
Burial, directed by Carter Funeral Home in Ralls, was in Ralls Cemetery.
A native of Cameron, Mrs. Yanis, 44, moved to the Ralls area about three years ago.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond; four sons, Raymond Jr., Ermino, Victor and Freddy; three daughters, Oliva Escaville, Betty Yanis and Mary Helen Yanis, six brothers, a sister; and five grandchildren.

FLOYDADA (Special) Rosary for Raymond S. Yannis, 76, of Floydada will be at 7 p.m., today at Moore-Rose-White-Funeral Home Chapel.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m., Wednesday, at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church with Father John Ohlig, officiating. Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home.
He died Sunday, Nov. 1, 1998, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 17, 1922, in Lexington. He married Mary Ann Orta in 1946 in Cameron. She died in 1972. He moved to Floydada from Ralls in 1974. He was a retired farmer, and he was a member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He also was preceded in death by a daughter, Freddie Yannis, in 1982.
Survivors include four sons, Frank of Georgetown and Raymond, Jr., Erminio and Victor, all of Floydada; three daughters, Betty Hernandez and Mary Helen Moreno, both of Floydada and Olivia Esquivel of Plainview; 35 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
