U.S.Flag Graveside services for Ray Andrew Woodard, 81 of Ralls were at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at the Ralls Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Daniel and Rev. Larry Carson officiating. Arrangements were under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Ray passed away Monday, November 12, 2007 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. He was born July 5, 1926 in Garden Valley, Texas to the late Jess Thomas and Avey Catherine (George) Woodard. He moved to Crosby County in 1943 from Childress and was a Baptist and a farmer. He served in the US Army in Germany during WWII.

Ray is preceded in death by four brothers; John, Jim, J. T., and Bill and five sisters; Bertha Williams, Grace Daniel, Bessie Cope, Betty Jo Carpenter and Stella Moates. Survivors include: two brothers; Eugene of Ralls and Earl of Childress and two sisters; Wanda Ruth Caddell of Ralls and Pearl Carpenter of Clovis, N. M.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
