Services for Lucille Wilson, 81, of Lubbock were held Sunday, Sept. 6, 1998, in Bacon Heights Baptist Church in Lubbock with the Rev. Charles Murray, pastor, officiating and the Rev. Jimmie McGuire assisting.

Burial was held in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

She died Friday, Sept. 4, 1998, at University Medical Center in Lubbock.

Wilson was born on Jan. 1, 1917, in Ryan, OK.

She married Robert A. Wilson on Feb. 7, 1938, in Portales, NM. He died Oct. 3, 1976.

She was a member of the Bacon Heights Baptist Church in Lubbock, the Mary Sunday School Class and the Sunshiners Choir. She moved to Ralls in 1945 and to Lubbock in 1969. She was a professional seamstress and homemaker. She was a member of the American Business Women's Association.

She is preceded in death by two brothers, Calvin Reaves and H.C. Reaves.

Survivors include a son, George Wilson of Ralls; a daughter, Ann Humphreys of San Antonio; two grandsons, Rob Wilson of Dallas, and Don Humphreys of Amarillo; two brothers, Charles Reaves of Prairie Grove of AK and Jearidean Reaves of Deming, NM; four sisters, Willie Mae Drummon of Magdalene, NM, Frances Cumiford of Houston, Doris Wheeler of Tyler and and Evelyn Drake of Chaparral, NM.
