RALLS � Graveside services for J.R. Williams, 92, of Scurry will be at 2 p.m. today in Ralls Cemetery with the Rev. David Porter officiating.Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
He died Monday, Sept. 30, 2002.
He was born Jan. 30, 1910, in Bairdstown. He married Johnnie Lavelle Russell on Oct. 15, 1933, in Lake Creek. She died Aug. 22, 1987. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He farmed in the Delta County and Crosby County areas. He moved to Scurry in 1991 from Ralls.
Survivors include four sons, Jerald and Russell, both of Mesquite, Bobby of Scurry and Rickey of Carrollton; two daughters, Lavelle Conner of Scurry and Elladene Swim of Justin; a brother, Robert of Levelland; a sister, Willie Sanders of Ralls, 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
