Funeral rites for Nathaniel Jackson (Jack) Williams of Ralls were at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Ralls First Baptist Church. Dr. Billy Burke, pastor, officiated.

Interment was made in Ralls Cemetery. Texas Highway Department employees were pallbearers.

Mr. Williams was claimed by death at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, in Methodist Hospital, Lubbock, following a short illness. He was 67.

A Ralls resident eight years, Williams was an employee of the Texas Highway Department.

The Center native was married to Lometa Green McCauley on May 27, 1959, in Crosbyton.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Gerald Wayne Williams of Ruston, La.; a stepson, Chris McCauley of Andrews; six sisters, Lola Neal and Edna Clark, both of Hemphill, Beulah Carroll of Center, Choicy Pierce of Post, Madie Wise of Allendale, SC, and Mozelle Garner of Bakersfield, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
