RALLS (Special) - Services for Vada Wideman, 88, of Ralls will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Ralls First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Morrow, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Mrs. Wideman died Monday, Aug. 21, 1995, in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital.

She was born March 4, 1907, in Munday. She married Morris Jackson Wideman on Oct. 11, 1923, in Ralls. He died Aug. 13, 1969. She was a member of Ralls First Baptist Church and the Pastor's Sunday School Class and Ralls Senior Citizens.

Survivors include two sons, Bob and Haney, both of Ralls; a brother, Delma Lott of Bakersfield, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

When Vada Lott was born on March 4, 1907, in Texas, her father, John William Lott, was 33 and her mother, Mary Eugene Pressley, was 27. At age 16 she married Morris Jackson Wideman age 20 on October 11, 1923, in Ralls, Texas. They had one child during their marriage. Vada died on August 21, 1995, in Ralls, Texas, at the age of 88. Morris Jackson Wideman died on August 13, 1969, in Crosby County, Texas, when he was 65 years old.
