Services for Willie Whitney, 64, of Ralls were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 12, 1993, in Shiloh Baptist Church with Elder S.R. Anderson officiating.Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of McCarty Funeral Home of Littlefield.
Whitney died Monday, Aug. 9, 1993, in St. Mary's Hospital in Lubbock.
He was born on May 3, 1929, in Sylvester and moved to Ralls from Lorenzo in 1985. He was a musician and a member of Anderson Chapel Church of God in Christ in Lorenzo. He married Mae Pearl McNeal in June 1985 in Ralls.
His survivors include his wife; a daughter, Pearlie Thomas of Lubbock; and two grandchildren.
