Graveside services for Marie White, 85, of Odessa were at 2 p.m., Thursday January 25, 2001 at Ralls Cemetery with Rev. Floyd Haddock officiating.Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
She died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2001, at Covenant Medical Center in Levelland.
She was born April 28, 1915, in Crosby County.
She married Fishburn Fred White on May 16, 1931, in Clovis, N.M. He died Jan. 13, 1988.
She moved to Odessa in 1946 from Ralls and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Cecil Foster in 1998
Survivors include one son, Laney White of Odessa; one daughter, Dorotha Phillips of Lubbock; three grandchildren, LaVerna Phillips of Ruidoso, NM, LaChana Gibert of Snyder, and Kelly Conlin of Odessa; and four great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Alzheimer's Research, 3601 Fourth St. Room 3A116, Lubbock, TX 79415.
