RALLS (Special) — Services for Josephine May Wheeler, 82, of Ralls will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Carter-Adams Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. David Ray, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

She died at 1 a.m. Saturday in Lubbock's Methodist Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Matador and graduated from Emma High School in 1924. She lived on the Wheeler Ranch in southern Crosby County until 1957, when she moved to Ralls. She was a member of the Ralls Garden Club, and she served on the Crosby County Historical Commission.

Survivors include a brother, J.A. Dugan Wheeler of Ralls.
