U.S.Flag Services for Irma Wildering West of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Sanders Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Hayes Wicker, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery in Ralls under direction of Sanders Funeral Home.

She died at 7:58 a.m. Tuesday in Methodist Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Ralls. She married Mitchell "Mike" P. West on Sept. 20, 1953, in Ralls. She was a retired bookkeeper at Texas Tech University. She was a member of the Sojourners Co-ed Class at First Baptist Church. She was a U.S. veteran of World War II.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Gary of Houston; a sister, Juanita Smith of Ralls; and three brothers, Dick Smith of Irving, Ray Smith of Las Cuces, NM, and Vernie Smith of Ralls.
