Graveside services for Hubert Whitfield Watson, 82, of Ralls were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2001 at Ralls Cemetery with Earl Adkins officiating.
Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
He died Sunday, May 27, 2001 at Lubbock.
He was born June 29, 1918, in Tarrant County, TX.
He married Dolly Nancy Jones on March 20, 1937, in Ralls.
He was a lifelong farmer who also was interested in carpentry and remodeling.
He and his wife briefly resided in California.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Thomas (Ben) and Cal Dora Watson and by two sons, Rex Kendall Watson and Aaron Kent Watson.
He is survived by his wife Dolly of Ralls; two brothers, Don Haskell Watson of Modesto, Calif., and Jess Dean of Novato, Calif.; a sister, Vera Ola Follis of Dallas; four grandchildren, Monty Watson, Dede Stone, Dana Drake and Donna Vaughan; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services for Dolly Watson, 83, of Ralls will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Emma Church of Christ in Ralls with Joe Keyes officiating and Billy Bob Wright assisting.
Burial will be at Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home in Ralls.
She died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2002.
She was born Aug. 17, 1918, in Smithville, Tenn. She married Hubert Watson on March 20, 1936, in Ralls. He died May 27, 2001.
She was a member of Emma Church of Christ in Ralls. She moved to Ralls in 1927. She worked at Lynch´s Department Store, the telephone company and at the Crosby County Agricultural Service. She was a member of the Senior Citizens Center and the Quilting Club.
She also was preceded in death by two sons, Rex and Aaron.
Survivors include four sisters, Zona Holt of Cartago, Calif., Clara Barlow of Coldspring, Cleeta Carley of Lubbock, and Patsy Roddy of Lyman, S.C.; four brothers, Hatton and Robert Jones, both of Ralls, and James and Billy Jones, both of Teague; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at Adams Funeral Home.
