Services for Xenna Faye Watkins, 76, of Ralls were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, 1999, at Ralls First Baptist Church with Jim Morow, of Kerrville officiating.

Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ralls.

She died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 1999, at the Ralls Nursing Home. She was born November 9, 1922, in Burnet county.

She was a member of the Ralls First Baptist Church and TEL Sunday School Class. She was a graduate of Ralls High School, attended Wayland College and graduated from Hardin Simmons University. She taught school for 27 years, mostly in the El Paso area. She returned to Ralls in 1984 from El Paso. She was a member of the state teachers organization.

Survivors include four sons, John Watkins of El Paso, Paul Watkins of Ralls, Sam Watkins of Ralls, Carl Watkins of Ralls; two daughters, Jena Daniel of El Paso and Sarah Strain of Paris, TX; two sisters, Joyce Crowley of Ralls and Marion Tyer of Ft. Worth; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-granchildren, Pallbearers were her grandsons.
