Raymond Ware

Raymond Ware of Ralls succumbed at 8 a.m. Friday in Methodist Hospital in Lubbock after a lengthy illness. He was 75.

Funeral rites were at 2 p.m. Sunday in First United Methodist Church of Ralls with the Rev. Howard Marcum, pastor, officiating.

Interment was made in Ralls Cemetery.

Born in Ames, he moved to Crosby County in 1920. He married Emily S. Beechly on April 8, 1950, in Abilene. Mrs. Ware died August 1970.

A Green Thumb associate the past 10 years, Mr. Ware had been a windmill worker for 25 years. He was a member of the Lubbock Christian Singles Club.

He is survived by two brothers, Elwood Ware of Killeen and Jack Ware of Pecos; two sisters, Melba Ware of Ralls and Maurine Worsham of Shallowater.
