Graveside services for Melba Ware, 86, of Ralls were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 30, 1996, in the Ralls Cemetery with Rev. Ron Colwell, pastor of the Ralls First United Methodist Church and Rev. Jim Morrow, pastor of the Ralls First Baptist Church officiating.

Burial was under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Miss Ware died at 12:10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 29, 1996, in Lubbock's Methodist Hospital following an illness. She was born May 7, 1909, in Coryell County, TX, and moved to Crosby County in 1920 from Coryell County. She was a farmer and an artist. She was a member of the Ralls First United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by three brothers, Jack Ware, Elwood Ware, and Raymond Ware.

Survivors include one sister, Maurine Worsham of Shallowater; and several nieces and nephews.
