RALLS (Special) - Graveside services for Elwood wWare Sr., 80, of Killeen were at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Ralls Cemetery with the Rev. Ron Colwell, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating.Interment was directed by Carter-Adams Funeral Home.
Ware died Monday, Nov. 22, 1993, at his residence. He was under the care of a physician.
He was born on Sept. 29, 1913, near Gatesville in Coryell County and lived there until 1920, when he moved to the Ware farm seven miles north of Ralls. He attended Cone Schools and was a 1932 graduate of Ralls High School. He moved in 1932 to Bell County, where he engaged in ranching and farming. He was a Methodist.
He is survived by three sons, Elwood Jr. and Bradley, both of Killeen, and Regan of Ralls; two daughters, Marilyn Nash and Sharra Polk, both of Killeen; a brother, Jack Ware of Shallowater; two sisters, Melba Ware of Ralls and Maurine Worsham of Shallowater; four grandchildren; and a great granddaughter.
