Services for Monte Lynn Wampler, 55, of Lubbock, formerly of Ralls will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 10, 2008 in the Ralls First Baptist Church with Rev. Trent Sills officiating. Burial will be in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.Monte passed away Thursday, May 8, 2008 in Lubbock. He was born January 17, 1953 in Littlefield to Troy Noland and Dorthy Marie (McKeowm) Wampler. On May 10, 1975 he married Vicky Argo in Odessa. He was a 1971 graduate of Ralls High School and lived in Lubbock and Colorado most of his life. He worked for IMC as a maintenance facility manager.
Monte is preceded in death by his father, Troy Wampler who passed away October 22, 1984.
Survivors include his wife; Vicky Wampler of Lubbock, one son; Will Wampler of Lubbock, two daughters and their husbands; June and Alec Bounsing of Amarillo and Tracy and Aaron Sisson of Lubbock, his mother, Marie Wampler of Lorenzo, two brothers and their wives; Wade and Judy Wampler of Canadian and Larry and Cheryl Wampler of Lorenzo, one sister and her husband, Nancy and Marvin Collier of Arkansas and five grandchildren. Casket bearers will be Randy Woodard, Renn Phillips, Alec Bounsing, Aaron Sisson and Will Wampler.
