Graveside Services for Virgie Vick, 58, of Floydada was at 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006 at the Ralls Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Carson officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Mrs. Vick passed away Friday, Jan. 13, 2006 at University Medical Center in Lubbock.

She was born Nov. 8, 1947 in Lubbock to Alvis and Hazel (Adams) Spann.

On June 13, 1998 she married Jimmy Vick in Idalou.

Virgie was a homemaker and moved to Floydada in 1998 from Lubbock.

She is preceded in death by a brother, Joe Spann, Jr.

Survivors include: her husband, Jimmy of Floydada; a son, Franklin Johnson of Lubbock; two daughters, Daylene Archibeque of Lubbock, Deloris Lindley of Mineral Wells; her mother, Hazel Spann of Lubbock; three brothers, Franklin Spann of Idalou, Roy Spann and Lloyd Spann both of Lubbock; five sisters, Marie Page of Oklahoma, Frances Surratt and Edith DeGraff both of Lubbock, Lola Bankston of Carlisle, Debra Spann of Post; and eight grandchildren.
