RALLS (Special) - Rosary for Juanita Velasquez, 66, of Ralls will be recited at 7 p.m. today in St. Michael's Catholic Church.

Mass will be celebrated at 3 p.m. Monday in St. Michael's Catholic Church with the Rev. Malcolm Neyland, Judicial Vicar for the Catholic Diocese of Lubbock, officiating.

The Rev. Tom Parampil, pastor of St. Michael's Catholic Church, will assist.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.

She died 5:25 a.m. Saturday in University Medical Center after a sudden illness.

She was born in Gonzales and moved to Ralls from Karnes City in 1953.

She married Francisco Velasquez on Aug. 2, 1943, in Karnes City. He died on Aug. 18, 1974. She was a member of the Guadalupanas Society, Ladies Society and Home Visitation Group. She was a housewife and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.

Survivors include five sons, Angel, Rudy, Frank Jr., and Vicente, all of Ralls, and Fred of Lubbock; three daughters, Olivia Escobar of Ralls, Ernestina Belyeu of Coy City an Susie Mendoza of Salem, Ore.; five sisters, Antonia Gonzales, Refugia Campos and Nuemi Garcia, all of Pawnee, and Frances Guerra of Karnes City and Maria Rodriquez of Mineral; seven brothers, Natividad Luna of Ralls, Alfredo Luna of Florida, Domingo Garcia, Pablo Garcia, Benito Garcia, all of Pawnee, Jesus Garcia of Lubbock, and Manuel Garcia of Beeville; 26 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
