Florence Van HooseServices for Florence (Parker) Van Hoose, 81, of Crosbyton, will be Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Trinity Assembly Church in Floydada with Rev. Neil Unwin officiating and Rev. Glen Beaver assisting. Burial will follow at Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

Florence passed peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, April 18, 2011. She was born May 18, 1929 to Sam and Olive (Hardesty) Parker. She married George Van Hoose on May 17, 1947. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, and five sisters.

Survivors include her husband, George Van Hoose of Crosbyton, six children, Sam and Nelda Van Hoose of Plainview, Dick and Sharon Van Hoose of Lorenzo, Becky and Eddie Benefield of Brownwood, Dorise and Terry House of Canton, Georgia Browder of Ralls, Homer and Laurie Van Hoose of Lubbock, 17 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren, also survived by a sister Vianna Reichert of Minden, IL., and brother, John Parker of Graham and numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be Friday, April 22, 2011 from 6-8 PM at Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton.
