Rosary for Guadalupe Salazar Uribe, 47, of Ralls was recited at 6 p.m. Friday, January 16, 1987 in the St. Michael's Catholic Church with Rev. Tom Parampil, pastor, officiating.Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday January 17, 1987 in the same church with the same officiant.
Burial followed in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.
She died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 1987 in Lubbock General Hospital following an illness. She was born May 25, 1939 in Brownsville, Texas and married Juan Huerta Uribe June 22, 1960 in Silverton, Texas. He preceded her in death January 3, 1986.
She was a housewife and a member of the St. Michael's Catholic Church. She moved to Ralls in 1967 from San Antonio then to Washington State for 7 years then back to Ralls 3 years ago.
Survivors: 3 Sons: Juan Uribe, Jr. of Sunnywise, Washington, Vance Uribe and Trinidad Uribe both of Ralls; 5 Daughters: Margie Medelin of Lamesa, Cornia Gonzales of Oregon, Mary Ester Uribe, Olivia Uribe and Leticia Uribe, all of Ralls; 4 Brothers: Anastacio Salazar, Jr. of Nevada, Juan Salazar of Lorenzo, Hilario Salazary of Ralls, Paul Salazar; 7 Sisters: Isabel Campos, Francisca Cantu, Norma Salazar, Maggie Martinez, Connie Rodriquez, all of Ralls, Santos Molina of Elsa, Texas and Nora Salazar of Lorenzo; 9 Grandchildren.
