Graveside services for Marion Lou Tyer, 72, of Fort Worth, formerly of Ralls and Lubbock, were held at 3:00 PM Thursday, May 8, 2008 at the Ralls Cemetery with Rev. Larry Carson officiating. Burial was under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Marion passed away Saturday, May 3, 2008 at Baylor All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth. She was born January 22, 1936 in Ralls to the late Travis and Margaret (Mahanna) Cook. She was a graduate of Ralls High School and was a member of the Baptist Church. She worked for Dr. George J. Luiber in Fort Worth for several years. She moved to Fort Worth from Lubbock in 1968.
Marion is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Mary Kate Marion Tyer on September 30, 1993 and by two sisters; Xenna Watkins on February 10, 1999 and Joyce Crowley on August 13, 2007. She is survived by her son, Logan Tyer and his wife Karen and her daughter Kim Tyer, all of Fort Worth, and her two granddaughters, Tiffany Tyer and Brittany Tyer.
