RALLS (Special) — Memorial services for Charlie Earl Tyer, 90, of Amarillo will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Emma Church of Christ with Vance Davis and Lynn Camp officiating.

Private burial was under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

Tyer died at 2:20 a.m. Sunday in Amarillo's High Plains Baptist Hospital after a brief illness.

He was born in Red River County and moved from Ralls to Amarillo in June 1990. He graduated from Tyler Business College and was a retired bookkeeper. He married Juanita Travis on Jan. 30, 1930, in Clovis, NM. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Travis E. of Quincy, Ill., and Garl L. of Tampa, Fla.; a daughter, Bettye J. Robinett of Amarillo; a brother, Jack of Ralls; three sisters, Mary King of Austin, Lois Moses of Ralls and Ruth Rodgers of Alamogordo, NM; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

RALLS (Special) — Graveside services for Juanita Tyer, 85, of Amarillo will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Ralls Cemetery with Vance Davis, minister of Emma Church of Christ, officiating.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Emma Church of Christ with the same officiant. Services are under direction of Carter Adams Funeral Home.

She died at 6:25 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 1994, in Integrated Health Services of Amarillo.

She was born on June 22, 1908. She married Charlie Earl Tyer on Jan. 30, 1930, in Clovis, NM. He died on Oct. 11, 1992. She graduated from Ralls High School and attended Abilene Christian College, where she received a teaching certificate. She was a former Ralls school teacher, and she moved to Amarillo from Ralls in 1990.

Survivors include two sons, Garl L. of St. Louis, Mo., and Travis Earl of Quincy, Ill.; a daughter, Bettye J. Robinett of Amarillo; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
